The atmosphere is "comfortable" to say the least, we always had a large round table at the back that they would seat us.
The first thing you started in on, and I think it is an "eastern" thing, but a bowl of stuff, pickles, tomato's of one type or another, all sorts of "munchies."
Always had the house steak, 24 ounce, cooked to perfection, and aged perfectly. I have seen a chef emerge from the aging room downstairs with a heavy tray, laden with the steaks, a thing of beauty.
Always had a tendency to overeat, but oh, how good it was .................
I doubt that I could finish one today, but I sure would like to try ...................
