Miss Brooklyn is in the House

Get it in gear, Miss Brooklyn is here.

After a brief hello, a coat taken off and dropped on the chair, boots off, a trip to the fridge and out comes the yogurt. Grandmas little rocking chair is moved to the coffee table, and the yogurt is consumed, accompanied by some frequent smiles, scary ones, because they are a precursor to events yet to come.

Now, a brief look around the room by Miss Brooklyn, and a box containing band aides is taken off the table, and a check of Grandma and Grandpa to see if any "boo boos" can be healed and taken care of with the administration of  band aides, placed there by Miss Brooklyn, who has become very proficient tn removing the band aides from their securely wrapped little packages.

Now, another trip to the frig, out comes the Brie cheese and the pickles. A small table suddenly appears in the living room, Grandmas little rocker, and the "picnic" is about ready to happen. A knife for the cheese, the little "toasts" from on top of the fridge, and we are ready.

The knife is not sharp, and much too big for such little hands, but somehow, Miss Brooklyn manages to get the Brie from the package to her little toast, sometimes she just eats the cheese off the knife, and the party is ready.

We love for Miss Brooklyn to visit, always a nice picnic, a routine we are used to, the trips to the fridge, and a number of  "potty" breaks, we have "blue water" in our commode, Miss Brooklyn likes that. They are not necessarily "urinarily" productive, but she does seem to enjoy sitting on the "blue water."

Miss Brooklyn has left the house, now for an hour of cleanup, but we love her visits. Now we also have Miss Emma, but she is only a week old, cute, but no fun yet. She is just for looking, no "picnics."
