Sunday Evening ..

9PM, it is thundering outside, Caleb, our dog, is climbing all over me, now he is sitting on the back of the couch, licking my ear, he does not like thunder.

It was Mother's Day today, I fixed a nice dinner for the wife, who is a Mother. Talipia, broiled in butter and lemon, steamed cauliflower and baked potatoes, cheesecake, made by our granddaughter. And, backup, if needed, strawberry shortcake. I am not much of an eater of fish, lobster and shrimp I love. The Talipia I just put in the oven, 425, with butter and lemon, 30 minutes, delicious. Almost as good as lobster, nice white meat, not as sweet, but really good.

Marilyn worked today, did a demo at Krogers, so I had the day to clean house, which I did none of. Perhaps tomorrow, watched ladies softball instead.

It was somewhat hot in Ohio today. Coming home this afternoon, I was really sweating, rolled the window down and still hot. I can only open the passenger side window, the switch is broken, somehow. I can lower it, but raising, it goes up ... a ....... little        at        a        time. The heat was really getting to me ..... then, I realized the heater was on. Ohio weather, cold one day, hot the other.

Son Brad called to talk with his Mother, we are so proud of him. He is with Whole Food in Charlotte, NC, he called his Mother up. Good Kid. Melissa, his sister, our daughter, was ill, but sent flowers and a nice card to Marilyn, brought over by our Grandaughter, who also brought flowers and cheesecake, which we had for dessert.

Then, talked with Daughter Debra, in Highland, New York, and Lisa. They were sitting out on the gorgeous porch at The Would, sipping Martinis, looking out over the beautiful lush rolling hills of the Hudson Valley.
They had a busy day.

Been a good day for us, hope all was well with you and yours ............... parts of this post, I think are missing, lightening seems to be doing some funny things .... I already lost a couple of paragraphs ....
