Well, our "day clock" on the wall indicates that it is Tuesday, forgetful as I am, I know it is March, it is cloudy and cold outside, I know that because I put Caleb out once. I've checked all of the news services, and nothing gets my attention. A "no news" day. Looks like the highlight of this day is going to be a trip to Walmart, and we really don't need much. Caleb is spoiled, we need "doggie treats" of some kind.
He sits and stares into the kitchen in the morning till he gets one, same scenario in the afternoon and evening, so he goes through quite a few of them. By the time I get done talking to everyone we know at Walmart, and the shopping, it is about an hour trip, and we are only five minutes away from the store.
On one of my trips to New York, I ran some errands for my daughter. Some of her employees went with me, they were from Mexico and spoke no English. It was almost a half hour drive to Home Depot. I impressed them with my knowledge of Spanish.
"Ah me casa, en Ohio, cinco minutos desde me casa a Home Depot, Walmart, Lowe's" they were really impressed, if that is what giggling and laughing means in Spanish.
My mind is in a "quiet place" this morning, I should be listening to my subliminal tape, that is where they want me to start, with the warm sun radiating heat throughout my body. If I am "quiet" and go to that place, all the suggestions will help my body rebuild itself, one cell at a time.
OK, I'm off to Walmart, with my current state of mind, you won't notice any difference.
OH, NCIS is on tonight, things are looking up, and basketball, OK, may be a good day after all.
