The Bucks and the Ducks ......

Ohio State beat Alabama last night, in Football. Oregon also won .... The Bucks and the Ducks. A match up made in heaven
 .... or ...... ?

I am somewhat of the opinion that the outcome of some sporting events is often determined on what is best for TV. I predicted, well before the event, what would be the best scenario and the most profitable for TV in a Superbowl .... Brother against Brother ..... and it worked out. I predicted in September that Harbaugh would go to Michigan .... even had the salary right. Michigan is a BIG TV event, and it was waning ............. no more .... a big media do over now. Who greatly benefits from these and other predictable events .............. TV.

I do, however, feel that OSU was, by seasons end, one of the top teams in the country, and they are one heck of a TV draw ...... all Sugar Bowl Champions ...... apparel, sold out, back order. millions and millions in apparel sales. My guess would be that next week, all records will be broken, TV revenue, ad sales, apparel sales, viewers ..... all will go through the roof. This game will be "hyped" like no other, even the super bowl.

The Bucks and the Ducks .... coincidence?
