The Law is the Law

An email I received, some good ideas ............................

So "if" the US government determines that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, then, so be it.
And "if" that same government decides that the "Ten Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be it.
I say, "so be it," because I would like to be a law abiding US citizen.
I say, "so be it," because I would like to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.
I would like to think that those people have the American public's best interests at heart.
BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I'D LIKE?
Since we can't pray to God, can't Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don't believe the Government (Federal, State and Local) and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.
I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the" US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays." After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the "Christmas Break." After all it's just another day.
I'm thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn't cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be "politically correct."
  In fact....
I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshipping God....) because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day....
  What do you all think????
If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected officials will stop giving in to the "minority opinions" and begin, once again, to represent the "majority" of ALL of the American people.

OKLAHOMA MAY JUST BE THE PLACE TO LIVE!

I received an EMail on this, checked validity on a couple of sites, seems legit ...... GO SOONERS!

Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9, an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values...!
Guess what?.......... Oklahoma did it anyway.

Oklahoma recently passed a law to *incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from. They all scattered. Hope we didn't send any of them to your state. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU – they said it would be a mistake.
Guess what? .......... Oklahoma did it anyway.

Recently we passed a law to include DNA samples from all illegals to the Oklahoma database for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional.
Guess what? ........ Oklahoma did it anyway.

Several weeks ago, we passed a law declaring Oklahoma as a sovereign state, not under Federal government directives, joining Texas, Montana and Utah as the only states to do so. More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi, and Florida. Save your confederate money - it appears the South is about to rise up once again.

Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming that people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a set-back for criminals. Liberals didn't like it either, But
Guess what? ........... Oklahoma did it anyway.

Just this month, my state has voted and passed a law that ALL drivers’ license exams will be printed in English, and no other language. We have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that ALL of our
road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma, you must read and write English. Really simple.

By the way, Obama does not like any of this.

Guess what? .... Who cares?! Oklahoma is doing it anyway** **!!!*

Something to Ponder

Something to ponder. What could these three things have to do with what is going on in the world today? Thanks Barb.

1. Cows

2. The Constitution

3. Ten Commandments

COWS

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

THE CONSTITUTION

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq ... Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse or Congress is this --you cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal' 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians ..... it creates a hostile work environment.

Also, think about this .... if you don't want to recommend this article to anyone for fear of offending someone -- YOU MAY BE PART OF THE PROBLEM!

It is time for America to speak up!
