I imagine there is sadness in heaven tonight, the founding fathers of this country, Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, are all sitting around, wondering, "Where did we go wrong?"
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
And now, 2010, all of the freedoms that they held on to so dearly, are being set aside, and the free America, is gradually slipping into a Socialist State.
They worked so hard for a Democracy, for a free people, Lincoln abolished slavery in this country so that all men are free and equal and we have been shown that a few people who are strong enough, can impose their will on our entire country. One giant chunk of freedom has been removed from our countries solid foundation. What must they be thinking in Heaven tonight. The rain that will fall from Heaven in the next few days will be tears, shed by our forefathers. All that they worked and fought to build is being eroded away.
Here lies the United States of America 1776 - 2010.
