Sunday Morning, March 25

Why is it that there are so many TV commercials about buying insurance to cover funeral costs? Why not get insurance to help your kids pay some of the bills, or to help them out? The small amount advertised does not yield much money, not even close to pay the undertaker off.

Heraldo blames the "hoodie" and what it stands for on the recent shooting. I tend to agree with him. I remember one afternoon I was in our local Walmart and three men came in wearing hoodies. I must admit I was somewhat intimidated by their appearance. I know they got the attention of the store security people. It is a symbol of something sinister. I agree also that there may not have been a shooting if he had not been wearing the "hoodie." Not an excuse for what happened, but could be the reason.

Politics. There is NO way that Romney can win against Obama. Romney is "Unelectable" as a candidate for the presidency. With all the millions he has spent, he is still NOT a clear cut victory in that race. I have to believe that it is still somewhat of an open race. Perhaps some new names will emerge, or an unsuspected candidate may become a front runner. Who can win in a presidential race against Obama, who, oh who? Certainly not a candidate whose persona and perception is encased in a ragged, ripped pair of blue jeans, and with no charisma.

Weather. Cloudy in Ohio, have had some really great days, and look forward to having more.
