The new University of Dayton Logo

I have been in the printing business for many years, graphics, I have designed many logos and graphic designs.

I must admit, this one ..... questionable.

I have tried to see what they were trying to accomplish.

It looks like VD, first of all, which is not good.

Will this go on a letter sweater?

A fine old Catholic University in Dayton, Ohio, UD as it has always been known, the Flyers ... and now ...... this.
