Now I know ......... why .....................

I was gonna use a foto of one of the kids in matching attire, but I saw this spectator, now I know more why there is a crowd and why they are all walking around, following ....... the golfers...

I am watching golf, this Sunday morning, rather than "Mr. Ed." I have watched golf much of my life, either in person or on TV. I don't remember listening to golf on the radio, that would be a tough thing to do.

Right now, thousands in attendance, and millions on TV are watching a young kid hit a little white ball, with a stick with a metal thing on the end of it. One kid is now, hitting one out of some sand and getting his probably three hundred dollar, color coordinated shoes, dirty. And, after he hits that little white ball with that stick, the crowd roars.

Almost each one, has a pair of shoes, decorated in a color, which are coordinated with his pants, his shirt, in some cases that bag that carries all those sticks, and his cap. It was not a coincidence that it all matched. Someone thought ahead and had it all ready for them. You can tell the "really good guys" by the quality of the matching clothing and shoes. Some don't match.

They now all wear trousers with belts. In the olden days, they wore belt less trousers with Western pockets, a nice "golf shirt" and white or black shoes with metal cleats in them. Some shoes were two-toned.

What is it, in our makeup, that makes thousands of people follow and applaud these golfers? Why are all these people not out practicing so they too can play better. My guess is, all these golfers we see, did not sit and stare at a TV set, they were out practicing

Why don't these guys all just hit the ball straight and stay out of the long grass and the sand, seems like it would be better to just hit is straight and not so long? The one Italian kid, Garcia, has matching shirt, pants and shoes. Now he didn't have time to do all of that. Maybe it's his wife.

My main concern, what happened to the belt less trousers, I really liked those, showed off their "flat bellies" as some call them. I have two pair of trousers that are belt less with western pockets. They are hard to find.

I don't see the Woods kid today, wonder what happened to him. Do golfers live longer with all that walking, why no golf carts. One kid has an orange shirt, orange belt, orange on his shoes, and some of his sticks are orange, he must be really good ... and, his hat is too big and the bill is flat, at least it is not on backwards, even his flat billed cap has some orange on it .... he must really be good ....................
