Not sure what a "musing" is, but it is Monday, our "Week" clock on the wall indicates, the sun is shining in Ohio, and it looks like a nice kickoff to the week. I wonder what this week has in store for us?
The Masters is history, a telephone call from a stranger leads to a 2 stroke penalty, now some have reviewed the film and there should NOT have been a penalty, that 2 strokes may have been an incentive for him to win. We will never know. One of my favorite expressions, "What might have been."
I think that we are indeed fortunate, to have a leader, such as Obama, who, in the face of pending chaos in the country, financial ruin, high unemployment, the threat of a nuclear war with a North Korean kid who has his little finger on a doomsday button, massive killings and shootings in the country, a trend of internet related problems of violence, rapes and suicides among teenagers, that he is able to let none of these problems impede him in any way, from playing golf. He is living the American Dream ... at our expense.
Well, it is now four hours later, Mary stopped by for our weekly "Coffee time" and as always enjoyable. It was out turn to do "donuts" and we got a coffee cake instead, only problem with that, way too much left over for me to eat, a donut or two was not too bad, but 3/4's of a coffee cake is too much.
Watched the noon news, a number of killings in Columbus, Ohio, a few car wrecks, some traffic is backed up, concern about North Korea, Obama is playing golf, and someone spent a lot of money, to buy some new signals, so they can have "variable speeds" through construction areas. People complained that they often had to slow down in construction areas, with no construction going on. So now, when all of this is implemented, they will only have to slow down where they are working. How great is that? Maybe it didn't cost anything, they got a grant, from Washington - I wonder where all that money comes from?
I wonder if there have been other "plots" against Obama that we have not heard about?
