I hear a lot about closure nowadays, seems like a lot of people need it. I don't remember hearing about it years ago. Things happen, and then they got on with their lives. Now they need ........ closure. I heard my Dad use the term, after an operation, the incision, there was closure. In that sense, closure consisted of suturing up an incision, and there was ............. closure.
How do you know if you've gotten closure? Closure only seems to be needed after a tragedy. If a really good event happens, and you get really excited, don't you need closure to get back to normal? Apparently not, never heard of it happening.
What is the dividing line between "getting over something" and having "closure?"
