I don't know for sure ...... but ????

I know that television does not control the NFL. I am almost sure of that, well almost, well, they just can't tell the NFL what to do and what they expect to see on and off the field, really.

If they had decided to write a script for that game on Sunday, that outcome was what they would have written. It is merely a coincidence that mid-season I almost predicted the outcome, to a T.Their script, and mine, delivered the most successful Super Bowl in history, viewers and revenue.

I for a long time have felt that TV, suggested, how nice it would be to keep games close at halftime, to keep viewers for the second half. I suggested once that it would be nice, in the third quarter, for teams to somehow catch up, make the game even, and then decide the outcome in the fourth quarter, right at the end.

I think that THEY wanted the Ravens to win, but close, so it didn't look like one brother was a lot better than the other. Answer me this, WHY, with a scrambling quarterback, who has been running well all game, do the 49'ers get down to the five yard line, and pass, pass, pass and pass ..... because, they were not supposed to win, but keep the game close, as per the script. If they had run, they might have, in four attempts, gotten the ball across the goal line. In-completed passes, no gain.

I know, I think, that TV does not control the NFL, but if they had, the exact outcome.

Pre-season odds on going to the Super Bowl. Baltimore Ravens: 14/1 - San Francisco 49ers: 40/1.

Wonder how the betting went ... wonder who won that game???
