A letter, a what?

Watching some movie this morning, the closing scene, she is reading a letter ................

A thought occurred to me, when was the last time I wrote a letter?

When was the last time you wrote a letter, signed it, folded it and put it in an envelope, put a stamp on the envelope, and mailed it?

I don't think we even have any envelopes any more.

I can picture one in a museum sometime ... A Letter ... An Antiquated form of communication
