The publicity on guns alone has fed a frenzy of buying guns, and ammunition is now on the endangered list. Is it just that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. A magician can do wonders with that concept. A politician can do the same thing, maybe even take it to new heights.
I have never felt so far removed from our government, I might just as well be living in Siberia. I, like everyone else, watch the news on TV, listen on the radio, and none of what I hear makes any sense. I only know that if a Republican likes it, the Democrats don't, and there seems to be no middle ground.
I do know that we are running out of money. I am concerned about our Armed Forces being neglected, using inferior equipment and being faced with the fact that the existing equipment cannot be serviced or updated.
Yet, the president spends millions of dollars each week, travelling about his luxury accommodations to locations that are expedient and fortify his agenda, it is all politics and done to glorify his image. A lot of "joking" material surfaced recently about his putting his name in the hat to be elected as the new Pope. Why would he want that, it would be a step down for him, in his eyes.
We are living through a period in our history that we are not even aware of. Someday we will all arise some morning and ask, "What happened?"
