Story on TV. A homeless guy in, I think, Kansas City .......... sitting on the sidewalk, leaning on a parking meter. Some lady drops some money in his cup, and drops her obviously ill fitting diamond ring into the cup.
I can't imagine, if it was that loose, why she had not lost it before ............. but
She dropped it in this homeless guy's cup.
Next day, he gave it back to her..
Somehow, the story got out, probably got out on the internet ...........
$140,000.00 ............ has been collected for him.
Do you think the two of them might have scammed up the whole story ....?
"Hey, lady, I got a great idea. I'm gettin tired of this Winter weather, I wanna head to Florida. Drop that rock into this cup, come back tomorrow and you'll get it back. Put it out on the internet. I'll split the money with you, OK? Should be good for a few bucks, enough to get me to Miami."
