I have tears in m eyes, admittedly, watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics, all those beautiful, shiny smiling faces, realizing the culmination of a dream, great. I am so glad I have lived long enough to see another one. I am at that age where at the closing ceremony four years ago, I have to wonder if I would still be around in four years. Thank God, I am, and getting to see another one.
I saw in awe four years ago, Japan put on quite a show, will have to see how this one stacks up tonight. Everything else is anticlimactic though, just seeing those athletes come in is reward enough fo me. Each face, started out as a child, with a dream. After many hours of tedious work and dedication, they find themselves marching into an Olympic stadium .How great is that?
Now for some awesome, once in a lifetime entertainment. Again in awe, thanks for letting me see another one.
