I am sitting here in the living room, alone, no radio or TV, just listening to and enjoying, the quiet. There is no noise at all .... and the noise is loud ..... if that makes sense. In this day and age it is hard to find someplace that is really quiet. Caleb, our dog, is upset, his "woman" is not here, and he pouts. He sat out in front for a long time, watching cars pass, but no Marilyn, so he is taking a nap, on her coat, on a small couch. He looks up at me once in a while, with a .... "Well???????" ..... look on his face, and then goes back to sleep.
We don't get enough "quiet" nowadays .... the world is too noisy....
I am reading comments on my Facebook, about my wife being in the hospital .... many posts. from all over ... Jenet Mullins, a Facebook friend from Dayton, made a very perceptive comment, worth sharing,
"Funny about Facebook isn't it? A group of mostly strangers come together to share memories and without realizing it a bond is formed. Take care."
I enjoy the "quiet" but would rather have Marilyn here .......
