This story brings me to tears, what Lauren has done and what PEOPLE have done who have heard of her story, I recall nothing like this every happening. A "community" has bonded together. The game, went from a small venue to a larger one when 10,000 tickets were immediately sold. No one televises Division III games .... but there will be one tomorrow. There is just too much tragedy in the world. I will be watching and crying .... and I won't be alone ....... Check your TV schedule to see if YOU can watch this game with me.
MEET LAUREN
Mount St. Joseph University moved up its first game to November 2 to play against Hiram College, which was granted after news came out that freshman Lauren Hill is terminally ill with Diffused Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). The game was also moved to the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, and will be played in front of a sold-out crowd.
The game, which features two Division III schools, will also be televised on Fox Sports Ohio and streamed online through Fox Sports Go, per Mount St. Joseph's website.
Hill will also be honored before the game, where she will be presented with the 2015 Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Wilma Rudolph Courage award.
