Not sure of any costs, seems like accounting was reluctant to let that information out. I still am of the opinion that 100 millions is a lot to spend, especially when we don't have it to spend. I checked also, the Bush family all went a time or two, and they did a safari trip also.
I still would rather hear the president say, "Michelle, the girls and I were going to take a weeklong trip to Africa, but when we learned of the cost, we cancelled the trip. It would just cost the taxpayers too much. So, we are going to rent some flicks, make some popcorn, drink a few Cokes, maybe shoot a few hoops, and just "chill" for the week.
