Another thought occurred to me, oddly enough, in the shower, we live in a "Love Ya, Miss Ya" society today. I've had three LYMY's and one, see you at five. That's too bad in a way, we just don't get to see each other enough.
WWI there was a lot of LYMY going on, then peace, then WWII and more LYMY, and I guess it has remained that ever since. Companies going global, better jobs in the "city," and for one reason or another, families got spread out and holidays and other occasions are just Love Ya, Miss Ya. Missing someone has become a way of life, and that's a shame. We have so little time on this earth, it's really too bad that we cannot share those times with those we love, primarily, our family.
When you think about, Love You, Miss You .... pretty sad in a way. I have to get ready now, my "see you at five" daughter is taking us out to dinner, to celebrate Father's Day. I am wearing a ring she gave me some time ago. It actually has a "flip top" arrangement on it, diamonds on one side, and I have it "flipped" today, that is the "Dad" side.
Love Ya .... Miss Ya
