Every morning, after Caleb, our dog, wakes me up, around eight, I stroll down the hall to the living room. There is only one big window, but every night, we close the Venetian blinds. So, my first official act of the day is to open the blinds. Here in Ohio, that is always a thrill.
Take yesterday, for example, I turned the little turney-turney thing, and what did the reveal, snow. I looked out a short time later and the snow was gone, and then, in a while, the sun came out, and in the afternoon, snow flurrys again. As I closed them last night, no snow.
Now, Sunday morning, a nice coating of snow on the ground, and it is snowing, on March the third.
Regardless of the weather, two days ago I sarted wearing shorts, and I will continue wearing them through the Summer.
March Madness is on the way, college basketball's biggest show of the year. I think this will be the biggest show yet. Much like the Super Bowl I think that TV has exerted some pressure and has controlled this season so that this will be the "biggest show" yet.
Who is the favorite this year, there is none. Everyone has beaten everyone else. The only positive this season, if you are "Number One" you will get beaten, probably your next game after achieving that lofty goal.
At least, one week from today, Sunday, March 10,, Daylight Savings Time, so So Spring can't be too far behind.
