A message to Walmart shoppers.
I DO NOT work for Walmart. I have done many "demos" there and my wife still does some, and I accompany her there, and help her get set up for her demo, so I am in our local Walmart many times during the week.
One of my pet peeves concerns people who put an item in their cart, later decide they don't want it, and just leave it on the nearest fixture.
Today, for example, I walked from the front of the store to the back, where her demo "cart" is and set her up near the back of the store. I counted eighteen items that were just dropped on a counter or in a meat case. It has become a habit counting items like that, for some reason. I have seen Mothers hand an item to their child and tell them to put it on a counter, or in a cooler. I know that in some cases, these same children are made to "put things where they belong at home." So, why is Walmart different?
We shop at Meijers and Krogers on occasions, and they rarely have items out of place, and I have to wonder why that is. Maybe they just get a better class of customers, or something, and that could be it.
I, for one, put things back where I got them, if I change my mind on an item while at Walmart, I really do wish that others would do the same...... Thank You.
