Drop a Line

Visitors I have had this week came from these countries: South Korea, France, Germany, Russia, Denmark, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Sweden, Canada.

It would be nice to get a "hello" from you. It is extraordinary what this vast WWW can do. I have been involved with computers for many years, before many knew what WWW actually was. I remember the days when people would call me up, "I got a new computer and I can't get anything on it, what do I do."

Then I would explain to them what they had to do to get it to work. "I gotta call the phone company, to get a what?"

I remember when people came to our print shop to have me look up something on the "Internet" for them, they didn't have a computer yet. I deeply regret that I didn't secure more URL's, I remember looking up nfl.com, and it was available. I remember "Captain Crunch" and his little "clicker" that cost the telephone companies millions of dollars.
