BORN the day of a tragedy - DIED the day of a tragedy

I must admit I am somewhat haunted by this story and this face. Born the day of a tragedy and died the day of a tragedy. If there is a face that shows the hope of this country, the face of Christina Taylor Green was it, and that face has been taken away from us. The image will always be there.

Her hopes and her dreams for our country are no more. A deranged gunman put an end to her life and all those hopes and dreams.

"She was all about helping people and being involved. It's so tragic," Roxanne Green told the Arizona Daily Star. "She went to learn ... and then someone with so much hatred in their heart took the lives of innocent people."

At her young age she had mapped out her future, where she wanted to go to college, she had hoped to be the first gal in major league baseball, and from what I have read of her, she just might have made it.
