I honestly do not care whether casinos come to Ohio, or not. I spent a portion of my life in them. They are no more than an elaborate set, where you lose your money. A casino is nothing more than "opportunity." Something for nothing. An unlimited amount of money to be won ...... if only.
No good ever came out of a casino, and only winners come out. The worst thing a person can do in a casino, is "win."
I just wish all the "supporters" would just tell the truth ..........
Ohio needs money, people don't want to pay any more tax money, the only way we can get it is from casino revenue. People won't pay more tax money, but they will lose their money in a casino. We need that money.
Why don't they just say that. If it becomes a moral issue, they lose, if it is solely fiscal, they may win. It has been turned DOWN so many times, the people spoke out, NO CASINOS IN OHIO, er ah well OK this time.
