Anybody know how to send a fax? Shutdown mixes things up at White House

President Barack Obama wasn't furloughed when the government shut down, but that doesn't mean he and everyone else in the White House weren't affected. The New York Times explains, with humorous detail, just how the partial shutdown has changed things at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Hundreds of people work on all sorts of things, but with the shutdown sending all "nonessential" workers on an unpaid vacation, those deemed essential enough to stay are having to figure out some new job responsibilities.

The New York Times writes that junior staff members who were furloughed had to explain to the more senior staff members how to do relatively basic tasks, including writing news releases, scheduling meetings and navigating visitors through security gates outside the Oval Office. Trash in the West Wing is now being picked up once per day instead of twice.

Other areas of the White House to see a sudden change include the cafeteria, which is now operating on a "limited menu" (say goodbye to the soup of the day, according to the Times).

Politico wrote its own feature on how the shutdown is altering things at the White House. For example, place a call to White House press secretary Jay Carney and guess who might actually pick up the phone? Jay Carney.

Benghazi Conspiracy Points to Obama and Muslim Brotherhood

There is a ton of information floating around about what really happened at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012.

If you listen to Obama, Biden and rest of that team, you will have already heard a number of lies and cover-ups.

And like so many other things, the more lying and covering up that is done, the more different conspiracy theories begin to abound.

What makes for a good conspiracy theory is having parts of it based on evidence that has been determined to be true.  Once you establish what is supposed to be true, you start adding the meat and flesh of your conspiracy around that frame until you get the creature you desire.

One conspiracy I recently read kind of peaked my interest.  I’m not saying this is true and I’m not saying it’s not true.  But there could be just enough truth in it to make it plausible.

According to Kris Zane at The Western Center For Journalism, he believes that the attack on the Consulate in Benghazi leads back to Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood which in turn leads back to the White House and President Barack Obama.

Obama invokes executive privilege as Holder faces contempt vote

President Barack Obama invoked executive privilege on Wednesday for the first time since taking office to withhold certain Justice Department documents tied to the flawed "Operation Fast and Furious" gun-smuggling investigation from lawmakers demanding them.

Obama's 11th-hour decision, revealed in a letter from the Justice Department to House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, did not derail the California Republican's plans to hold a vote declaring Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress.

"I write now to inform you that the President has asserted executive privilege" over the documents, Deputy Attorney General James Cole told Issa in a letter released by the White House.

"Although we are deeply disappointed that the Committee appears intent on proceeding with a contempt vote, the Department remains willing to work with the Committee to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution of the outstanding issues," Cole wrote in the letter.

A Kid in a Candy Store

How did this man and woman elevate themselves to the highest office in this land? I don't think it was a "rags to riches" story. I think someone, somewhere, orchestrated their rise to the top, and that is frightening, kids let loose in the candy store.

Is it any wonder that they have flown all over the world, taken lavish vacations, spent millions or billions of taxpayers money, and in reality, have to answer to no one. Are they the first to take advantage of the government coffers. No, but they may have lowered the bar on "taxpayer abuse."

I was in the Navy, never gave any thought to who payed for what I was using or doing, the government was paying for it. Later, a local company received a contract to do some work for a government agency. Most of the work they could not do, so they sent it to us. We would do the work, "Oh, government, double it." In turn, the company that sent it to us, would double or raise their final price, so by the time all was said and done, a greatly inflated price, but, the government was paying for it.

So, the above "kids" are let loose in the "candy store," went from a "bug" to a "limo," and not just a limo, a limo accompanied by one hundred or so assorted body guards and "aides."

No wonder they want another four years. They could never live that lifestyle again. And, in my opinion, they intend to live that lifestyle for many more years, if re-elected, perhaps, even beyond the next four.

Obama Signed Another Executive Order?

Sunday, May 13, 2012

Obama has signed yet another executive order, this one is Identifying and Reducing Regulatory Burdens, that when coupled with his Executive Order Promoting International Regulatory Cooperation and Executive Order Establishing a White House Council on Strong Cities, Strong Communities, opens a direct path to bring United Nations regulations to the grass roots of our body politic.

This latest executive order will allow the soviet socialists in our local communities through their committees to adopt and enact United Nations regulations designed to establish absolute United Nations’ control over our every resource.

The laws of the United States, individual states, counties, cities, and local municipalities, under our Constitution must be legislated. These executive orders bypass the legislative process and essentially nullify our representative form of government under the guise of allowing us to voice our opinion in reference to new regulation rather than enforce our will through elected representation.

Awkward, to say the least

Did anyone happen to watch the arriving guests at the White House dinner last night, it was amusing,, to say the least. The part we saw was people entering an area, on the way to the tent, but the area they had to cross was filled with the pres and photographers. The names would be announced, the people would enter, and cross in front of the cameras.

But, apparently, they were not told what to do. They were supposed to head straight for the door, not stop and talk or be photographed. One Army guard retrieved them if they stopped, and even then, a few of them kept on talking or posing, not going to pass up an opportunity like that. Most were in evening attire, one guy had just a regular shirt and black tie. At least, they all wore ties, no open necks that I saw.

Some came in arm in arm, some were Mister and Misses, one couple, men, came in hand and hand. The Attorney General appeared from no where and had to turn around and retrace his steps.

I had to wonder if George Washington was looking down on the scene, and observing what was going on. The mixed race couple would have caught his attention, as well as the two men holding hands, mixed couples, gay couples, many from foreign lands and different nationalities, all eating dinner in the same tent. But then, old George had never seen a tent like that.

Internal White House emails reveal deep concern, embarrassment over Solyndra

Less than one year after President Barack Obama touted his administration’s $535 million loan guarantee for green energy company Solyndra during his State of the Union address, embarrassed White House officials wanted nothing to do with the company, newly released internal emails reveal.

The emails, which are part of the administration’s seventh document dump in response to congressional subpoenas, show just how little faith the White House had in the former green tech darling — weeks before the Department of Energy restructured the failing company’s loan to ensure it tens of millions of dollars in additional financing.

In May 2010, the president said that “companies like Solyndra” are the “true engine of economic growth.” In his State of the Union address earlier that year, the president referred to the company as a veritable stimulus darling, a “California business that will put a thousand people to work making solar panels.”

But White House communications officials didn’t even want the president seen near Solyndra executives during the 2011 State of the Union address.

“Can’t do Solyndra … they’ve run into some issues recently. ,”  Daniella Gibbs Léger, director of White House message events, wrote in a Jan. 5, 2011 email, according to Politico.

And an administration official told Politico on Friday that the idea of seating Solyndra executives near the president “didn’t even make it to any sort of serious consideration.”

Did Professor Derrick Bell Visit the White House?

By Jake Tapper

The conservative Heritage Foundation shows some pluck by searching for the late law school professor Derrick A. Bell in the White House visitor's logs, and finds that "Visitor logs show that Derrick A. Bell visited the White House twice since President Obama took office.

The logs show two visits by an individual of that name on January 29 and 31, 2010.

Why would this matter?

Bell has recently splashed into the conservative media world after Breitbart.com and Fox News showed some video of then-Harvard Law School student Barack Obama speaking at a rally on campus in 1990 in support of Bell's efforts to improve the diversity of the school's faculty.

The video had been previously shown on Frontline in 2008, except for a scene of Obama hugging the professor.

Bell without question held some controversial views and some conservatives seek to portray this as yet another close Obama associate with radical views - with a lapdog media covering it up.

Wedding ring is in for repairs?????????????

Another piece falls into place.

In a press conference last week Obama was not wearing his wedding ring nor was he wearing his watch

When noticed, his staff said his ring was out for repairs. No reason was given for the missing watch.

So it's just a coincidence that Muslims are forbidden from wearing jewelry during the month of Ramadan.

We know he's a committed Christian "cause he said so during he campaign!" ...........

And I've got a bridge to nowhere to sell you also.

This is the same president that spent the Christmas holidays in Hawaii to avoid religious obligations as PRESIDENT at the White House. His children do not receive Christmas presents.

Let's just face the facts and quit trying to tell the truth, we have a muslim for president in the White House, and he has no knowledge of American history.

Casey in Washington TinC

This is a T in C Article, NO truth to it ............ all made up

An undisclosed source today revealed that First Lady Michele Obama has invited Casey Anthony, recently released accused child killer, to "hide out" in the White House in Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Obama stated, "Barack and I are never there, so someone might as well get some use out of the old place. Who would think of looking for her there, and security precautions are certainly in place. If necessary, we have the armed forces of the United States to protect her. The same people who voted for Barry are the same ones who found her innocent, I am sure of that, people just don't make mistakes."

She told Casey that she could stay as long as she likes, or at least another year or so, or at least until the next election.

The Casey Anthony trial was a criminal trial held in Orlando, Florida from May 9 to July 5, 2011 in the state's Ninth Judicial Circuit Court. Casey was accused of killing her child, Caylee Marie Anthony.

After her early morning release, Casey was last seen driving away from the jail, and her destination was unknown.

It is now known that she was taken to a covert government airfield, hidden under Disney World, and flown by a "black ops" Airwolf helicopter to Washington, where the helicopter landed on the roof of the White House. Air traffic is so frequent at the White House that the helicopter landed unobserved.

The First Lady also revealed to Casey that her tattoo "Bella Vita" which means "beautiful life" in Italian, may become the theme of her husband's next campaign, and that once the hatred for her has settled, she may become a spokesperson for the Democratic Party. There was some talk that due to her notoriety, that she may become the Chairman of the Party.

She also stated that there were irregularities in her husbands past, much the same as with the question about who might be the father of her deceased child.

Michele indicated that Casey was welcome to stay as long as she liked, or until they were forced to leave. "We're not here much, we've actually remodeled the Oval Office to make living quarters for Casey, Barry is never there.

One wonders why she needs so much help, at taxpayer expense, when even Hillary, only had three;Jackie Kennedy one; Laura Bush one; and prior to Mamie Eisenhower social help came from the President's own pocket.

Note: This does not include makeup artist Ingrid Grimes-Miles, 49, and "First Hairstylist" Johnny Wright, 31, both of whom traveled aboard Air Force One to Europe.

WHAT, Me Worry ...... You betcha

SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea launched seven ballistic missiles Saturday into waters off its east coast in a show of military firepower that defied U.N. resolutions and drew global expressions of condemnation and concern.

The salvo, confirmed by the South Korean government, also appeared to be a slap at the United States as Washington moves to enforce U.N. as well as its own sanctions against the isolated regime for its May 25 nuclear test.

The launches came on July 4, which is U.S. Independence Day. The display was similar to one that took place three years ago, also while Americans celebrated the Fourth of July during another period of tensions over Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program.

The number of missiles was the same, though in 2006 North Korea also launched a long-range rocket that broke apart and fell into the ocean less than a minute after liftoff.

South Korea said Saturday's missiles likely flew more than 250 miles (400 kilometers), apparently landing in waters between the Korean peninsula and Japan.

South Korea and Japan both condemned the launches, with Tokyo calling them a "serious act of provocation." Britain and France issued similar statements.

Russia and China, both close to North Korea, expressed concern over an "escalation of tension in the region," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement after a meeting in Moscow.

In Washington, the White House had no immediate comment. But two senior officials in President Barack Obama's administration, speaking in advance of the launches, said any reaction was likely to be muted to avoid giving attention to Pyongyang or antagonize it. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

Has this always been our policy?
