Anthony is in hiding, that trial is over, the war is getting rather boring, for those of us at home, getting very tired of seeing Obama on the television, he is on more regularly than Ellen. Are the fires out in the Southwest, have not heard much recently? Any floods, tornadoes, heard briefly that some volcano is erupting, don't think the lava will make it to Newark, Ohio.
Something has to be standing in the wings, just waiting to erupt on the news scene. My guess is that most of the news persons are at their home office, just waiting for the next GREAT news story.
Some TV shows can just rehash abductions and murders forever. High heat around the country is not much of a story. I cool off by watching Ice Road Truckers or gathering Crabs in the wherever they go after them. If I get seasick from that I can watch them cut down trees in the swamp, or gather up alligators, or watch survival in the hinterlands, guys close to death, hungry, just barely surviving, while the film crews shooting them are well fed. Haven't figured that out yet.
Middle of the Summer, so we are having End of Summer Sales, and seeing Christmas in July on the one selling channel. Back to school merchandise came out at Walmart the day after school closed, and on TV, promos about the New Fall Season. One ad was for a show that "everyone" is talking about, and it has not even aired yet. I never figured that out, or Hit of the Season and no one has seen it ye
Monday Night Football is already being promoted and the last I heard they were not sure if there was going to be a season or not. Trust me, the networks WILL NOT let that happen. Players and owners have nothing to do with it, TV controls sports, so, we will see NFL football next season. All this off season bantering is just promotion for the upcoming season.
Just wondering where the next "disaster" will come from, the next "big" news story, something has to happen, somewhere. There are thousands of people who make their living off of "news," just waiting to spring on some ............. BIG EVENT...

An undisclosed source today revealed that First Lady Michele Obama has invited Casey Anthony, recently released accused child killer, to "hide out" in the White House in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Obama stated, "Barack and I are never there, so someone might as well get some use out of the old place. Who would think of looking for her there, and security precautions are certainly in place. If necessary, we have the armed forces of the United States to protect her. The same people who voted for Barry are the same ones who found her innocent, I am sure of that, people just don't make mistakes."
She told Casey that she could stay as long as she likes, or at least another year or so, or at least until the next election.
The Casey Anthony trial was a criminal trial held in Orlando, Florida from May 9 to July 5, 2011 in the state's Ninth Judicial Circuit Court. Casey was accused of killing her child, Caylee Marie Anthony.
After her early morning release, Casey was last seen driving away from the jail, and her destination was unknown.
It is now known that she was taken to a covert government airfield, hidden under Disney World, and flown by a "black ops" Airwolf helicopter to Washington, where the helicopter landed on the roof of the White House. Air traffic is so frequent at the White House that the helicopter landed unobserved.
The First Lady also revealed to Casey that her tattoo "Bella Vita" which means "beautiful life" in Italian, may become the theme of her husband's next campaign, and that once the hatred for her has settled, she may become a spokesperson for the Democratic Party. There was some talk that due to her notoriety, that she may become the Chairman of the Party.
She also stated that there were irregularities in her husbands past, much the same as with the question about who might be the father of her deceased child.
Michele indicated that Casey was welcome to stay as long as she liked, or until they were forced to leave. "We're not here much, we've actually remodeled the Oval Office to make living quarters for Casey, Barry is never there.
