An attorney for Waters listed a number of reasons for reinstatement in a letter to the board. He asked that the panel take the action at its next meeting.
Waters was fired last month for what the school said was allowing a "sexualized" culture to permeate the band.
I personally am getting sick of hearing this story. I am not sure what words I can use to explain my opinion of him. First, I would be shocked if he were given his job back, and secondly, I don't know why HE thinks he is entitled to get it back. He must be the biggest ... "wootz" in the world. Why would he even want to go back? In my mind the school was well within their rights to do it, and I am sure, had just cause. As I said before, why does he not head to Akron and take a job there, don't be worried about qualifications or reputation.
