One of the reasons I do not like Halloween, that Candy Corn, and where did I find it, at Walmart, they had a whole wall of it in the checkout lane I was in. How can one not buy it, and the cashier told me there was a coupon attached to it, I got fifty cents off. And, with it in the house, how does one not .... well, grab a handful as you walk by it? I can't, I am chewing on some now. Have taken some on each trip to the kitchen, darned stuff.
And another thing, when I go in to buy a filter for our furnace, I need a 1 x 16 x 20, and they NEVER have an inexpensive one in that size, always a $13 or a $15 dollar one. Got a new one today, $13 bucks, but it filters out stuff we don't even have, so the extra money was worth it. Have been using the furnace for a few days. I made a vow last Winter that I would be in Florida or Arizona this Winter, but alas, no, still here in Winter country.
It is a Monday afternoon, cloudy, a little chilly, rainy, and a typical Fall day. Watching an old NCIS, Caitlin got shot, Ari did it. Never figured out why she left, or was taken off, or what. That aired in September of 2005, my, how time fly's
