Woolworth's Lunch Counter

Anyone have any memories of the lunch counter at your local Woolworth's? Kids certainly miss out on many great memories. Cherry Cokes, grilled cheese sandwiches, tuna salad sandwiches. I ate many a meal or a snack at a counter like this, always a "treat." W.T. Grants had a store here in Newark, ate many a lunch there. They did fried chicken on Friday, excellent, had to call early to order, sold out by lunchtime.
