I really can't comment on the recent convention, I watched none of it. Another gigantic waste of money. All the speeches, all the rhetoric, what was the hit of they show, an old actor making a questionable speech. I am assuming it was questionable from the comments I have seen this morning.
I have been around for almost 80 years and am at the point where I would like to see everyone, and I do mean everyone, put their collective heads together and repair the wrongs that are so obvious in this country of so much of everything.
Six billion spent on political campaigns, which to me is obscene. Floods in Louisiana, homes devastated, but, in our infinite wisdom, the government will probably rebuild them, again, and again, and again. The drama there is like seeing the same Broadway play, or the same movie, every five or six years. Anyone think of moving them to higher ground?
Now the Democrats take the spotlight, I wonder who their nominee will be?
