Good times ahead?

FACEBOOK - Picture of Romney - Are America's BEST DAYS ahead of us?

Thought being, as I interpreted it, if Romney gets elected, he will be able to turn the world around, perform a country-wide 180 miracle, and put us back on the road, the same as we were in ?

My thought, if that could be done, at what point in time was the USA at its greatest, just when was our shining hour?

I think at any point in our history, half were happy, and half discontented. As I recall, there were dissenters at the signing, so maybe there never was a time when we all were happy. We generally all came together on a few occasions after the civil war. It seems like it has always taken a war or a great tragedy to bring the country together.

Makes me concerned about the next few months. What could possibly happen to unite the country as one, and give our unified blessing to our president?
