I always get a little reflective around Memorial Day. It brings back a lot of memories.
My Grandfather, Caleb Dooley, was in the Civil War.
My Father, Ralph Dean Dooley, M.D. was in WWI
My Brother, Dean Shannon Dooley, was in WWII
I was in the Korean War ....
My Sons, Dean and Brad also served in the Navy in various wars/conflicts.
I heard a lot about WWII and the Civil War from my Dad.
Some of Dad's memories are reflected in his story, on this site.
