Obama’s Five Trillion Dollar Lie

Why isn't the U.S. economy in a depression right now?

The number one reason is because the federal government has stolen more than five trillion dollars from future generations since Barack Obama was elected and has used that money to pump up our grossly inflated standard of living.

Whether the federal government spends money wisely or foolishly, the truth is that the vast majority of it still ends up in the pockets of the American people who then use it to buy the things they need for their daily lives.

If the U.S. government had not borrowed and spent an extra five trillion dollars that we did not have over the past several years, we would be in the middle of a rip-roaring economic depression right now.  So any talk that Barack Obama is “improving the economy” is a total farce.  It is a five trillion dollar lie.

The reality is that Barack Obama and the U.S. Congress have been stealing trillions of dollars from future generations in order to make things tolerable in the present.  If the federal government adopted a balanced budget next year, the debt-fueled prosperity that we are currently enjoying would start disappearing very rapidly and all hell would break loose in America.

At this point, the U.S. national debt is over 15.7 trillion dollars.

When Ronald Reagan took office it was less than a trillion dollars.

If you were to divide the national debt up equally, it would come to more than $50,000 for every man, woman and child in the United States.

How ironic....In Michigan state Democrats are holding

their party delegate caucuses this weekend.

The party that staunchly opposes a requirement of  photo ID's for voters

won't let anyone into their own meeting without photo ID!!!!!!!!!!!

12-year-old girl who blogged cancer fight has died

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. (AP) — A Southern California girl who became a nationally recognized face of child cancer with a blog that chronicled her fight against brain tumors has died.

Jessica Joy Rees was 12 years old.

Jessica's family announced her death on her Facebook page, stating that her 10-month battle with brain cancer ended Thursday. Tens of thousands of people responded by posting updates to the page in a show of support that includes "likes" and prayers.

By Friday afternoon the outpouring surpassed Jessica's goal to get one "like" for each of the estimated 50,000 American children with cancer.

The Orange County seventh-grader, called "Jessie" by family and friends, began her blog and Facebook page after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in March. A second tumor was discovered in September.

While some of her posts discussed her struggles as she underwent radiation and chemotherapy treatments, others urged readers in dozens of countries to support pediatric cancer research and to pray for other children with the illness.

She always signed her posts with the acronym "NEGU" (NEE'-goo), short for "never ever give up."
Also, she and her parents started The NEGU Foundation, a nonprofit organization to raise awareness of pediatric cancer, support sufferers and raise money for research.

The foundation sold and provided thousands of "JoyJars" stuffed with candy and toys to sick children. More than 3,000 were sold and distributed in 27 states last year, according to the NEGU website.
After her diagnosis, Rancho Santa Margarita youngster received tickets to "American Idol" and arrived with signs that read "NEGU Casey" to support contestant Casey Abrams, the Orange County Register reported.

Co-host Ryan Seacrest also allowed her to announce country singer, and eventual winner, Scott McCreery.
Jessica wrote on Facebook that her mission was "to encourage kids fighting cancer to Never Ever Give Up by spreading hope, joy and love. A cheerful heart is great medicine."

A celebration service was scheduled for Wednesday at the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, where her father, Erik Rees, is a pastor.

January 6. 2012 - originally had 2011

I have not written a blog in quite a while, and I have to get one done ....what to write?

How does Caleb know it is exactly 8:00 AM? Every morning, I feel a paw scratching at my feet. I get up, and Caleb heads to where my head was recently sleeping, and snuggles up, and takes a nap, after I get up. So many mornings I have felt that something at my feet, looked at the clock, exactly 8:00, how does Caleb do that?

Politics: Actually, about as interesting as a rock. I have a few rocks on my end table that my Dad made. The cabinet and the rocks mean a lot to me. The rocks are from Cape Cod, taken from my Daughter's front yard. The recent stir in Iowa, all things considered, probably had something to do with millions of dollars, money that could have been better spent helping someone or something out. If nothing else, they could have purchased suits for the participants.

I will not vote for anyone who campaigns in jeans and a shirt. THEY show NO respect for me, so they will not get my vote. What is even worse, a nice thousand dollar suit, a one hundred sixty dollar shirt, and NO TIE. Why not just forget to put on the pants. Most newscasters wear ties, Drew Carey wears a tie. Why get "almost" dressed, wear ties. Doctors, ministers, politicians, successful businessmen should wear a tie.

Warm in Ohio today, similar pattern to when we had the blizzard. Washed the car yesterday, brushed out the floors, even warmer today. Nice, but scares me a bit as to what is coming ... we always seem to have to "pay the piper."

Something will happen soon...... not sure what it will be, but we are in a "slow" news time, politics is actually boring, Obama is up to something, not sure what .... little to no news out of Washington, so, weather, disaster, something will happen soon. All of the TV crews are at home. If the weather was bad, i.e. snow in the North, etc., would be a "Southern" disaster so they could head for warmer weather. But, something will happen soon, it always does. Hope you are not involved in it...

What has America become?

Has America become the land of special interest and home of the double standard?

Lets see: if we lie to the Congress, it's a felony and if the Congress lies to us its just politics; if we dislike a black person, we're racist and if a black person dislikes whites, its their 1st Amendment right; the government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and they do almost nothing for the victims; in public schools you can teach that homosexuality is OK, but you better not use the word God in the process; you can kill an unborn child, but it is wrong to execute a mass murderer; we don't burn books in America, we now rewrite them; we got rid of communist and socialist threats by renaming them progressive; we are unable to close our border with Mexico, but have no problem protecting the 38th parallel in Korea; if you protest against President Obama's policies you're a terrorist, but if you burned an American flag or George Bush in effigy it was your 1st Amendment right.

You can have pornography on TV or the internet, but you better not put a nativity scene in a public park during Christmas; we have eliminated all criminals in America, they are now called sick people; we can use a human fetus for medical research, but it is wrong to use an animal.

We take money from those who work hard for it and give it to those who don't want to work; we all support the Constitution, but only when it supports our political ideology; we still have freedom of speech, but only if we are being politically correct; parenting has been replaced with Ritalin and video games; the land of opportunity is now the land of hand outs; the similarity between Hurricane Katrina and the gulf oil spill is that neither president did anything to help.

And how do we handle a major crisis today? The government appoints a committee to determine who's at fault, then threatens them, passes a law, raises our taxes; tells us the problem is solved so they can get back to their reelection campaign.

What has happened to the land of the free and home of the brave?
