Founding Facebook President Sean Parker (whose estimated worth is $2 billion) married Alexandra Parker (formerly Lenas), his fiancee of two years and mother of his newborn daughter, on Saturday. The lavish “Game of Thrones”-inspired wedding is rumored to be one of Silicon Valley's most expensive, at a reported cost of $9 million, according to a story published Sunday in People magazine.
The magazine reports that the over-the-top ceremony for 300 guests took place at the Ventana Inn & Spa in Big Sur, California and was officiated by the Rev. John A. Buehrens. The 24-year-old bride, a tattooed singer-songwriter, wore an Elie Saab gown. Sean, 33, and the couple’s 5-month-old daughter, Winter Victoria, were outfitted by a costume designer whose work appears in “The Lord of the Rings” films and “Xena: Warrior Princess.”
