18 children killed, 9 others killed also, what is the world coming to. A few days till Christmas, a time of goodwill and good cheer, and now this National Tragedy. It really does not affect me that I know of, but I am shocked that this can happen. It is more than I can comprehend.
My God, the stories that are coming in on the TV, comments from the students and others.
Tragedies occur in other countries but they are not the same as when they happen here. I understand somewhat, the conditions the various TV commentators are experiencing the emotions, but they ask some of the most inane questions imaginable. I realize they have to fill air time, but perhaps silence, at times, is all that is needed. I'm sure if I was in their position I would be babbling the same rhetoric as they are.
