As you know there are many different fields of study, so now is a good time to be thinking about it. Have you given any thought to it?
Oh, not really, just been trying to get through med school has been tough enough, a specialty is farthest from my mind right now, but well, there is one field that seems to interest me more than any other..
Well, in the coming year, there are some more specific courses that lean to one specialty or another, so it might be a good time to lean toward that field that interests you the most. What are you leaning towards.
To be honest, I have always thought that I wanted to be a Proctologist.
Oh, any reason why? Do you fully understand what that is, it is a necessary and important part of medicine, but, perhaps, a little less glamorous than others. Ha, ha, you know what you are going to be looking at all day, right.
Yea, I know, I am just fascinated in dealing with the structure and diseases of the anus, rectum, and sigmoid colon. No idea why, it started with a frog in high school, I think.
Well, there is also Obstetrics, you know what you'd be dealing with all day there.
