It was just ........... dinner...

While I was sitin at the Vets office I picked up a magazine and asked Beth to read me a story.

Now, I ask you, why, would a grown people person read a story to a cute little kitten, about some nut who holds up a kitten. First, why would you hold up a kitten, kittens ain't got no money, maybe  holdin out a little catnip, but nuthin of value.

The kitten had been invited up to this babes apartment for dinner, she was quite a looker, and a real sucker for a cute kitten. She started the dinner from scratch, boiled a lot of meat, ran it through a grinder, then a blender, went to a lot of trouble to fix a real gourmet  dinner for this cat. She even put candles on the table, and, I'm sorry to say, she even had a little saucer, well, she had wine in it for the handsome little feline.

Well, they ate, their eyes met a few times, glances were exchanged, there were some "sparks" between the two of them, needless to say, it was a romantic evening. She invited him, well, to stay a little longer, he knew what was on her mind, but he didn't waver, he was not going to succumb to her charms.

He thanked her for a delightful evening and dinner, he noticed a note of disappointment in her voice as he headed for the door. He slowly opened it ............. and ........... he was looking down the barrel of a 45 .... he was startled, shocked, looking down the barrell of that gun ..... he thought to himself ..... I did nothing, just dinner and a nice evening ....... I didn't know she was married.
