For inventors and scientists only .............

Where will the next MEGA something or other come from. I think the three resources that have not been utilized as of yet are, grass, leaves and lint. And for the food situation, I have long wondered where there is a vast amount of land that is not utilized. The center part of freeways. Has to be mowed, costs money, plant corn or soybeans or something. I wonder how many acres of unused freeway  center strips there are.

Harvesting would be easy, Start in New York with a picker or whatever, and head to the Pacific Ocean. Could ease the food shortage.

You have to wonder also about dandelions. Some people make a salad out of them, some make wine. But if just one Summer, we didn't spray or dig them up, next year a bumper crop, and they could be put to use. Just think how valuable those little yellow flower-like things if, they somehow could be linked to a cure for cancer. I remember someone used peach pits for something.

There are so many things we have in abundance, that are thrown out or wasted, somehow. Lint must have some use, we have a box of it in the washroom. I may stuff a pillow with it. Interesting theory, how much lint can a pair of sweatsox produce? Where does the lint come from? How many times would it take to wash those sweatsox, till they were, no more, all lint.

Leaves, dead ones, put them in a Ninja blender with some liquid and what would you have? Any food value?
There are tons of leaves burnt or taken to the dump every year, they must have some value. Maybe grind them up and make crackers from them. Some from Maple leaves, some Oak, a variety of flavors. Burning leaves emit a memorable fragrance, Autumn Leaves. Maybe do a flavoring for meat, like liquid smoke, only Liquid Leaves, keep Fall in the air, all year.
