My Father, who was an MD, predicted Socialized Medicine would eventually happen, 60 years ago. And, he predicted a tremendous DECREASE in the QUALITY of medicine. Now, potentially good doctors will elect for another field.
Socialism is creeping in to our lives more every day, and if we stay on the tack we are presently on, we will be sailing into a socialistic state, all government control.
We are letting it happen, and some morning we will wake up saying, "What happened?" But then it will be too late.
This week, House Democrats unveiled their $1.5 trillion, 1,018 page addition to the federal bureaucracy - socialized health care.
Make no mistake about it, the "free" health care will cost you more in taxes - some as high as 57%. And if that isn't enough, at a time of near 10% unemployment this will force many small business to lay people off.
Finally, like your doctor? Better hope she or he is part of the "government plan".
Elections have consequences and we're now seeing the results of an uninhibited liberal majority in Washington.
No American should forfeit nearly 60% of their yearly earnings to taxes. Yet, that is exactly what would happen to many if this health care plan with its higher tax rate is passed.
Maybe we are too tired to fight, the veil of government is too translucent, and we are only allowed to see what they want us to see.
