Don't get the mail Henry, It's Saturday.

The U.S. Postal Service plans to stop delivering letters and other first-class mail on Saturdays beginning Aug. 1, although packages will continue to be delivered. It will mark the an end of an era for the agency, which started Saturday delivery in 1863.

Tired of waiting for Congress to help, the Postal Service later Wednesday is expected to unveil a series of more drastic cuts they plan to pursue that will save them billions of dollars, a spokesperson for the service confirmed. It's unclear at the moment whether the Postal Service has the authority to quit delivering letters on Saturdays. Previously, it has said it needs Congress to change current law to do so.

However, two sources confirmed for CNN that the plan includes an end to Saturday mail service except for package delivery, which has seen growth in the past few years.

The Postal Service has been borrowing billions of dollars from taxpayers to make up for shortfalls caused by a 2006 congressional mandate, under which it has to pre-fund healthcare benefits for future retirees. Technological advances have also led to a decline in first-class mail, which most consumers use to stay in touch and pay bills.

As the bankrupt U.S. Postal Service struggles to pay its bills, it gets slapped with $700 in traffic tickets including two school zone speeding tickets and 5 red light violations. Jennifer Bresling, the attorney representing the Postal Service, wrote a letter to American Traffic Solutions (ATS), the Arizona-based company that enforces East Cleveland, Ohio’s camera citations and stated that the USPS is not subject to local and state regulations. They shouldn't have to pay all these fines because they’re above the laws. And they’re above the laws because they’re a part of the government.

In her letter to ATS, Breslin reminded them that the USPS is responsible for mailing over 200 billion pieces of mail a year, as if that exempts them from local ordinances.

This is about hypocrisy. The same government that helps create these laws for “safety” doesn't think they have to abide by these “safety” laws. They’re saying loud and clear, “We don’t really care about your safety.”

Barack Hussein Obama, who recently proclaimed, “We are no longer a Christian nation” to the delight of Muslims worldwide as they continue their war against Judaism and Christianity, is pleased to see the final and permanent creation of a Muslim stamp commemorating the 2 most important festivals in the Islamic calendars. 

The final Islamic 44 cent stamp has become permanent while Obama, the 44th President, expressed his appreciation for the accomplishment in a recent Islamic relations dinner in Washington.

The Muslim holidays Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha were honored on the US Postal Stamp, the “Forever Stamp” in May of 2011. On these days, Muslims wish each other Eid mubarak, (no, that’s not a translation for, “We Love Mubarak”. No it simply means “blessed festival.”

The phrase shown in gold calligraphy on the stamp can also be paraphrased as, “May your religious holiday be blessed.” This phrase was chosen over the proposed “Allahu Akbar” in fear that the latter might offend some Americans and Israelis who associate that phrase with Islamic Extremists who shout it just prior to launching their murderous attacks.
