It's Time!
It is also Valentine's Day, anyway you look at it, the weather is going to start turning warm.
I guess I like Winter and cold nasty weather, how else can you look forward to warm weather, nothing to compare it to. So, I like Winter, because it makes me appreciate Spring and Summer.
But tomorrow all the Pitchers and the Catchers head for warm weather locations to start throwing and catching baseballs, makes me feel "warm" all over.

Lawyers agreed to make complaint public after settlement talks broke down

A court-appointed trustee wants the owners of the New York Mets to give up $300 million -- money he says is fake profit from Bernard Madoff's epic Ponzi scheme, lawyers say.
The demand is made in a complaint ordered unsealed Friday in federal bankruptcy court in Manhattan. Read the court order to unseal the complaint.
The complaint by trustee Irving Picard names Fred Wilpon, Jeff Wilpon and others connected to the Mets and Sterling Equities as defendants. Lawyers agreed to make it public after settlement talks broke down.
The suit has cast a cloud over the Mets ownership, which has said it's exploring a partial sale of the team.

Is Your House Ready For Summer? Here'S A First Aid Kit For Spring Fixes

6. Touch-up paint and foam applicators - Avoid having to search the garage for a can of paint by putting a small amount of paint in a disposable airtight container and add it to your kit. Scents make memories ..............
I was laying out on the front porch a while ago, about half asleep, and my mind wondered back, many years, trying to remember "scents" from my past.
Few will remember, but each year, in the spring, WALLPAPER CLEANER. I remember coming home from school, late 30's, open the door, to that aroma of wallpaper cleaner. That scent meant a lot of things ..... spring, summer, vacations, housecleaning, not that I did any in those days.
The cleaner came in a can, was pink, consistency of play doh, it was nothing more than a soft eraser. You would basically "erase" the coal dust and dirt off the wallpaper. The more you worked, the blacker the pink cleaner got. It was soft and playable. When you were done, the wallpaper looked new, and there was that lasting aroma in the air, of the wallpaper cleaner.
I'll have to look and see if they still have it, I would love to experience that fragrance again.
PS: A little reseaarch revealed that PLAY DOH was originally invented to be a wallpaper cleaner ... but, as I recall, the old wallpaper cleaner had more of a gritty texture to it.
