I can't recall anyone who has "enjoyed" being president more than Barack Obama. I think more than being president he likes the "power" and the spotlight. Running the country be damned, "this is great." I wonder how many hours of actual running the country type work he has actually put in. I suppose being president is like being the football coach of a major university. The assistants do all the work.
There probably is no more powerful a job in the world as president of the United States, and that would be hard to give up. After that, nowhere to go but down, so of course, he wants to get re-elected, he is desperate to get elected.
But, why did he get elected in the first place? He was not qualified in any respect, to hold the office. What great force was behind him that enabled him to win the election? We don't know. Who pulled all the strings? We don't know. Is there more going on than we know about? We don't know.
I do know, however, if there is some deep dark plot afoot that we are not aware of, he will win again. Just think of all the things he could not do. He could not beat Hillary, he could not win, he could not get his health care bill passed, so many things he could not do, that he did.
So don't assume he can not win this election. He is desperate to hold on to the power of the office.

Tress and Jopa - Too much "juice"
COLUMBUS, Ohio - It was a throwaway line, intended to lighten the mood after an ominous revelation by one of the most decorated college football programs in the land.
Ohio State President E. Gordon Gee had just heard his head football coach, Jim Tressel, concede that he had reason to believe several star players were taking money and free tattoos from a suspected drug dealer and yet he had told no one. Tressel started most of those players throughout the 2010 season and a bowl game anyway, failing to alert anyone in authority — a clear violation of NCAA rules and his own contract.
Gee, an endowment rainmaker wearing his trademark bow tie, jumped in to defend Tressel and then, asked if he had considered firing his coach, uttered an off-hand crack.
"Let me just be very clear," Gee said with a grin, "I'm just hopeful the coach doesn't dismiss me."
The joke fell flat, but echoed around the country. It confirmed what many already believed about the balance of power in college sports today: some football teams run universities, not the other way around.

Our power is on ..... at least for now
Now Monday evening, around 8, and we have had power for a couple of hours, been off since Sunday evening around 5. OH, the joy, when the lights go on. We were informed, via the radio, that we may not have any power until this coming Sunday. We have had water though.
I had a small battery operated fan that helped. Had a small cooler, but no ice, so used a frozen chicken and a frozen turkey breast.
The AC is on, ceiling fan,TV is on, and the computer is up and running, life is good, for now. Another storm may come in tonight or tomorrow, so we could lose it again. At least no freezer or frig full this time, threw it all out today. A few days ago we receive some lobster tails and steaks that we had ordered, we lost them.
Tonight I sweated outside, grilling chicken legs, 12 of them, smallest package they had they were about done when the power came back on. Got involved turning things off and on and burned the legs, at least very well done.
So, for now, life is back to normal, except the kitchen overhead light does not work, what's with that.
MANY trees down, our friend Mary lost part of her roof, thousands still without power, perhaps omens of things to come ....... Someone predicted blackouts .... maybe he was right.....
