MOSCOW (AP) — When Usain Bolt means business, he is still all alone out there. Bolt coasted to his third straight 200-meter world title Saturday, with the race basically wrapped as soon as he entered the finishing straight.
Jamaican teammate Warren Weir never got close to Bolt's world-leading mark of 19.66 seconds, but crossing .13 seconds later for silver still left him enough time to join him in a reggae dance to Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds."
"The energy was great tonight," Bolt said. "The crowd was into it."
Curtis Mitchell of the United States took bronze in 20.24 but was never in the hunt for gold.
Now Bolt will go for his fourth triple gold at a major championship when he joins the Jamaican team for the 4x100 relay Sunday.
"It should be even better," Bolt said. The wealth of Jamaican sprinting is such that they might well sweep their American rivals in unprecedented fashion, after Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce clinched a similar 100-200 double and also has her final relay late on the closing day of the championships.

Deadly fire engulfs hospital outside Moscow
By Courtney Weaver in Moscow
A fire engulfed a psychiatric hospital outside Moscow early on Friday, killing 36 of the patients, most of them in their sleep, and two of the institution’s staff.
The tragedy is the latest example of poor fire safety in Russia, where buildings rarely have fire exits or planned exit routes in place, resulting in horrific deaths at hospitals, apartment buildings and nightclubs.

At least 78 killed in floods in south Russia
By Vladimir Soldatkin
MOSCOW
(Reuters) - At least 78 people were killed and thousands of homes were flooded in torrential rain and landslides in the Krasnodar region of southern Russia, police said on Saturday.
A police spokesman said 67 people had been killed in the town of Krymsk after an average two-months' rain fell in just a few hours in the popular holiday region on the Black Sea where Russia will host the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Television footage showed flooded streets and people scrambling onto rooftops. "There are lots of overturned cars, even huge trucks. Brick fences are washed away," a local resident, Vladimir Anosov, said by telephone from the village of Novoukrainsky.
"People are on the street, they are at a loss what to do. Helicopters are flying overhead, they are evacuating people from the flooded areas. The floods are really, really huge. Police advise people to choose different routes," he said. Novorossiisk, Russia's largest Black Sea port, halted crude oil shipments, a spokesman for oil pipeline operator Transneft said. The port also suspended grain exports.
