The Election is over, came out pretty much as the "experts" predicted. I am happy. Here in Ohio we have a new Republican Governor, almost a complete Republican sweep.
I think the Kasich victory was actually a "slap" in the face to Obama, he wanted Ohio, very badly. He sent in all his firepower, made any visits himself, and this has to be devastating to him. Looking ahead to 2012, he might be politically out. HE NEEDED OHIO. did everything he could, and it was not enough. He ain't shucking and jivin this morning. His bid for a re-election took a real hit.
I'm sure the Dem big wheels made note of this. My guess is that Hillary will emerge as the front runner. I am thinking that the name Rubio might start hitting the center circle on the old bulls eye Presidential target.
Money does talk, money can buy votes, just check out Nevada, Reid won. Proof that money talks. I know a little about Nevada politics, lived there, worked in the casinos, saw many politicians as they came in to pay respects to casino owners. Money talks in Nevada. I remember old Joe Conforte when he bought and paid for a town, which oddly enough, legalized prostitution for him. I wonder what it cost old Harry? Incidentally, I predicted his victory. Early polls showed him trailing, I was never concerned, I know how they work out there.
But now, WE have heard ALL of these PROMISES. Now is the time to take the same interest and devote the same enthusiasm to MAKING SURE that THEY live up to all those promises.
I think Obama is going to China or somewhere. WHO is running the country, he certainly is not at the helm, he is out campaigning (unsuccessfully), on vacation, or on a trip, out of the country. Good thing he has a cell phone, he can keep in touch that way.
I wonder if their will be a NEW PUSH to see Obama's CREDENTIALS .... birth certificate or whatever. Maybe NOW someone can get something done. Maybe Obama will seek asylum in China.
